Smoked meat with horseradish and almond sauce - recipe

Horseradish sauce is one of the classic dishes in the Czech gastronomic arsenal. In order to widen your palette a little, we bring you a special version of the recipe containing almonds. Ingredients:

400-500 g smoked pork for the sauce: |
stock 300 ml cream 40 g almonds grated horseradish sugar salt |
Instructions:
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour and, mixing constantly, this should form a roux. Don't stop mixing and add the stock. Add a little salt, mix, and simmer for around 20 minutes until the sauce thickens to the right consistency. Then pour in the cream, add salt and sugar to taste, then sprinkle in the grated horseradish and the almonds cut into thin slices or lengthwise. Bring to the boil, then take off the heat. Put a few pieces of the meat (which you have pre-warmed) on a plate and pour over the sauce.
