Torn cakes with blueberries - recipe

Hats off to anyone who can resist the temptation to nibble at these cakes during the cooking process! The aroma of vanilla, cinnamon, caramel and hot blueberries is so enticing that only the most phlegmatic (or full-bellied) chef wouldn’t be tempted…
Ingredients:
| 5 eggs 250 g fine flour 400 ml milk 2 sachets vanilla sugar 2 pinches of cinnamon 50 g raisins |
pinch of baking powder pinch of salt 100 g butter 50 g almonds 8 tablespoons of icing sugar blueberries |
Instructions:
Whisk the eggs and milk together, then add the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, salt, cinnamon and raisins. Leave the resulting dough to stand for half an hour. Melt some butter in a frying pan and pour in some of the mixture, sprinkling each cake with chopped almonds as you go. Tear the dough as you turn each cake, dust with sugar and leave to caramelise. Serve with warm, crushed blueberries and icing sugar.
