Šumava duck breast - recipe

This unusual way of preparing duck will certainly be attractive to those who prefer lighter dishes to the classic way this meat is served, namely with sauerkraut and dumplings. The sweetness of dried fruit and dessert wine go perfectly with duck meat, and this combination will prove irresistible to anyone who likes their food.
Ingredients:
| 4 duck breasts 120 g dried fruit 40 g nuts 100 ml dessert wine |
stock or water 1 tablespoon of oil salt dried herbs |
Instructions:
Chop the dried fruit and sprinkle with the dessert wine. Then finely chop the nuts. Slit open the breasts with a long pointed knife and fill the cavity with the fruit and nuts. Close up again using toothpicks, sprinkle with salt and flavour with dried herbs before lightly frying all over in oil. Then add a little stock or water and slowly bake until soft.
Side dish:
mashed potato, boiled potatoes, boiled rice, cranberry sauce
