Smokey Prague goulash - recipe

Have you ever wondered what the difference was between normal beef goulash and the abovementioned dish when the recipe is more or less the same? Well, the answer is the addition of smoked meat with this favourite classic, given a bit of oomph by a wreathe of tender ham, fragrant sausage, sharp horseradish and crunchy onion. It will be a hit with goulash fans, that’s for sure!
Ingredients:
| 600 g beef shin 3 tablespoons fat 2 large onions 1 tablespoon of tomato puree goulash spice salt |
garlic horseradish 4 slices of ham (à 10 g) 60 g sausage oil onion |
Instructions:
Dice up the beef into chunks. Fry the finely chopped onion in the fat then add the meat, puree, garlic, salt and goulash spices. Pour in a very small amount of water. Cook in the juice, but do not strain when ready.
Every portion should be accompanied with a roll of ham, grated horseradish, slices of sausage and fried onion rings.
