Garlic soup with barley - recipe

After a night of heavy partying, this easy-to-make hangover cure comes in handy. The soup, providing the beneficial effects of garlic, also fills the belly thanks to barley. You're sure to find everything you need in any household, so let's get cooking. NB: Defi nitely not for those in love or vampires.
Ingredients:
| 80 g barley 2 tablespoons of fat 1 small onion 800 ml water or stock (made from pig's bones) min. 3 cloves of garlic |
pepper marjoram crushed caraway seeds ginger salt parsley or lovage |
Instructions:
Rinse the barley and put into a pan. Cover with water and boil until soft. Gently fry the finely chopped onion in a pan, then add the crushed garlic, salt, marjoram, caraway seeds and ginger. Finally add the cooked barley, pour over the water or stock and simmer. Sprinkle with chopped parsley or lovage before serving. This soup goes best with fresh bread.
