French beans with bacon - recipe

Beans first arrived Europe a couple of centuries ago from the Americas and very soon found their place in Czech cuisine. This dish of French beans with bacon makes a tasty and quick dinner. It can be prepared in just a few minutes in a single pan meaning you also save time on washing up afterwards. What you do with the rest of the evening is, of course, up to you!
Ingredients:
| 500 g tinned French beans 50 g butter |
ground pepper 80 g fried bacon |
Instructions:
Remove the French beans from the brine and chop into large pieces. Warm them up in a little melted butter and add pepper.
Serve with finely chopped bacon which you have fried until golden brown.
