Crackling cakes - recipe

Crackling cakes were once just as common as everyday bread. The tender pastry combined with the substantial crackling was a filling snack for workers and tasted great. Bake them for your friends and just watch them disappear from the plate.
Ingredients:
| 750 g fine flour 3/8 l milk yeast |
2 eggs salt pork crackling |
Instructions:
Put the flour in a bowl and pour in the milk mixed together with the yeast. Beat the yolks of two eggs, add salt, and if the resulting dough is too dense, loosen with more milk. Leave to rise, then roll out, spread with ground crackling and treat like flaky pastry. Roll out three times, then cut out squares. Brush with egg and bake at a high temperature on a well greased tray.
