Eastern Bohemia
The picturesque region of East Bohemia not only invites history lovers to visit it, but also those who appreciate valuable cultural experiences, natural beauty or unique technical monuments. The accessibility of the Orlický hory (Eagle Mountains), Czech-Moravian Highlands or Moravian Karst makes East Bohemia an interesting starting point for an active holiday, rest and relaxation.
You can familiarise yourself with the extensive tradition of handicrafts and industry during a visit e.g. to the open-air museum on Veselé Kopec (Merry Hill), the handicraft workshops in Možděnice and Hlin, the unique museum of puppetry tradition in Chrudim or the hippological museum in Slatiňany.
