2010 Grand restaurant festival
Still don’t know what to get your family, friends, colleagues or your boss for Christmas? Are you looking for an unusual present? The restaurants taking part in the festival are the ones that have received high ratings in Maurer’s GRAND RESTAURANT guide. The motto of this unique project is: “Even ordinary mortals can enjoy the best food.”
The best chefs in the Czech Republic will be serving you delicious and unusual meals for festival prices in their restaurants from 15th January to 15th February 2010. This month-long culinary novelty is being organized by the hosts of the successful and famous PRAGUE FOOD FESTIVAL. The idea behind the festival is to enable anyone who is interested in quality cuisine to go to the best – and also often the most expensive – restaurants in the Czech Republic. This project is unique as it gives ordinary mortals the opportunity to enjoy outstanding meals served by chefs who are ranked among the top in a nationwide survey of restaurants in the Czech Republic.
In order to take part in the GRAND RESTAURANT FESTIVAL, it is necessary to buy a coupon for the festival menu in your restaurant of choice for a specific date and time. You can select your restaurant and menu of choice and buy coupons in advance from 7th December 2009 at www.grand-restaurant.cz.

Top chefs will be serving up the following during the festival:
- the Czech national dish of roast beef with cream sauce (svíčková)
- the chef’s culinary masterpiece of his or her choice
- the best of homemade cooking
- a three-course tasting menu

- Tasting Menu - CZK 600 (three courses, mineral water + a glass of wine)
